Year 2 Teacher required from February half term until July 2026. This is a full time role. We are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to take on a fixed term role for the rest of the academic year. This role will be covering maternity leave and there is a possiblity that it may continue on into the new academic year. This role is based at a popular school in the Huntingdon area with a stable and supportive staff team. This will be a full teaching role and as such planning, marking and reporting will be expected and as such you will be paid to scale for this role. You would be working in state of the art school with a brand new wing for key stage one children. The minimum expecations for this role are as follows: Qualified teacher status in UK (QTS) Able to provide two recent references to support your teaching employment Able to provide full DBS clearance (we can gain DBS clearance if needed) Recent experience teaching at key stage 1 level Sound knowledge of the key stage 1 curriculum Confident approach to behaviour management It would be advantageous if you have recent knowledge of delivering 'little wandle' phonics scheme Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
