COMPANY OVERVIEW Valves Online are a growing e-commerce business with products to suit a wide range of industries. Recently acquired by the R&G Fluid Power group, due to growth we are now seeking a trainee internal sales person. Offering a wide range of products to suit various industries and a commitment to providing reliable solutions, Valves Online are a trusted name within the market. Operating since 2003 we are now the leading retailer of valves in the UK. The R&G Fluid Power Group of UK based businesses offers unrivalled expertise, experience and product knowledge of fluid power products and systems for businesses OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The role will primarily be to assist the sales team to answer calls, emails and process both enquiries and orders. You will support the team to target and develop both new and existing customers. This position will also be required to assist in other areas of the business as and when required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Market Analysis: Market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities, trends, and threats within the valve industry. Customer Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and partners to understand their needs and align business strategies accordingly. Business Development: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential new and existing business opportunities. Sales Growth: Help in driving sales and revenue growth through the development of new and existing customer accounts. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Customer-centric approach with ability to build and maintain client relationships. Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A positive attitude, who enjoys problem solving. Experience of valves/actuation would be preferred, but not essential as training will be given. Full UK driving licence is required due to location and training requirements. KEY COMPETENCIES / CAPABILITIES Ability in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
