Role Responsibilities
The Role Holder will be responsible for providing advice in relation to employment and industrial relations law, including:
1. Recruitment
2. Employment contracts
3. Disciplinaries and grievances
4. Harassment and bullying
5. Long-term absences
6. Reasonable adjustments
7. Whistleblowing
8. Reward and recognition
9. Statutory consultation, redundancy, and dismissal
10. Settlement agreements
11. Trades unions and industrial action
12. TUPE
The Role Holder will also review and amend policies and procedures, as well as develop and deliver training related to these areas.
About the Candidate
You will be a qualified lawyer with extensive experience in employment law and industrial relations advice, preferably within the public sector or higher education institutions. You should be accustomed to working with flexibility and independence in a complex and dynamic environment.
