Reeson Education is looking for experienced and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join our daily supply pool for primary schools in and around Waltham Cross. This is a brilliant opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and wants the flexibility of choosing when they work.
Schools across Waltham Cross and the surrounding area regularly request SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication delays and a range of learning differences. As a daily supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be providing vital support, helping pupils feel safe, settled and ready to learn.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Details
Daily Rate: £82.14-£100
Start: ASAP
Working Pattern: Fully flexible daily supply
Location: Waltham Cross and nearby schools
Contract: Term-time only
What You'll Do as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Support pupils with a range of SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Help with behaviour strategies, emotional regulation and communication
Assist teachers with adapted learning tasks and routines
Quickly integrate into new classrooms and provide consistent support
Encourage independence and confidence in pupils who need it most
Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant
Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or SEN support worker
Confident supporting autism, ADHD, SEMH or speech & language needs
Calm, patient and resilient
Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
Ability to work flexibly and respond to daily cover needs
