Support Worker – Epilepsy & Complex Needs
Location: Maghull / Sefton
Hours: Part-time or full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to support a young person with epilepsy and complex needs in the Maghull/Sefton area.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care
*
Assist sensitively with personal care
*
Support with epilepsy management and follow care plans
*
Assist with communication, sensory needs and mobility
*
Help with daily routines within the home and local community
*
Maintain accurate notes and follow safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements
*
Strong English language skills (spoken and written) to ensure clear communication with the individual, family and professionals
*
Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy
*
Experience working with complex needs or learning disabilities
*
Patient, caring and professional approach
*
Ability to work independently and remain calm in challenging situations
Desirable Skills & Training
*
Epilepsy rescue medication training
*
Manual handling training
*
Experience working in a family home
*
Driving licence (advantage but not essential)
