Help shape the future of Digital Family Services in Kent
Kent County Council is looking for a proactive and digitally-savvy Business Support Officer to join our Family Hubs team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of our digital offer, helping families across Kent access vital services in innovative ways.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Supporting the development of the Kent Family Hub Digital platform through user research and engagement.
2. Managing and maintaining social media accounts and digital channels to ensure engaging and accessible content.
3. Providing high-quality administrative support to the Service Manager, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and action tracking.
4. Assisting with recruitment, induction, data analysis, financial monitoring, and sickness absence management.
5. Collaborating with digital and service delivery teams to enhance user experience and service effectiveness.
6. Ensuring secure handling of sensitive information in line with data protection protocols.
What We're Looking For:
7. A Level 2 qualification in Administration or equivalent experience.
8. Strong administrative and financial support skills.
9. Experience managing digital content and social media.
10. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
11. A good understanding of digital inclusion, accessibility, and safeguarding principles.
12. A commitment to Kents values: Brave, Curious, Compassionate, Strong Together, Responsible.
13. Ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.

14. A starting salary of £25,252-£26,262
