About the Role The Senior Team Leader is responsible for their only section of specialism across the Business Development Team, this could be either sales, marketing, recruitment or BD Admin. You will have the additional role of representing the wider team and being the crucial link between the Business Development Team and the Operations and quality teams. This is a strategic and hands-on role, accountable for developing and executing integrated sales, marketing and recruitment plans. Working closely with the Director of Business Development, the Senior Team Leader translates commercial objectives into effective Business Development strategies, represents the department as the Business Development lead, and uses insight and data to continuously improve outcomes. What does the role involve? Act as the senior Business Development lead, building strong working relationships across business development, recruitment, operations, and curriculum teams Be the lead contact for representing the department in discussions with operations and quality teams Ensure all communications are accurate, compliant, and aligned with Shoots brand guidelines Use performance data to inform planning, monitor ROI, and improve conversion rates Provide regular performance reporting and updates to the Director of Business Development Lead, line manage, and develop the Shoots Business Development team in your area of expertise, either sales, marketing or recruitment, setting clear objectives and expectations Ensure effective processes, best practice, and continuous improvement across the marketing function Ensure all marketing activity complies with legislation, funding rules, internal policies, and organisational values Follow your current job description for the job role of your expertise, Either sales, marketing, recruitment or Business development admin. What are we looking for? Professional qualification in either sales, marketing or recruitment Proven experience managing and developing a business development team At least three years’ experience in a Business Development role in your area of specialism Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to develop and deliver strategic and operational plans Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse performance and ROI Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment High standards of integrity and compliance Able to represent the department point of view in a professional and respectful manner whilst giving their point of view Why Shoots?
