As a Senior/Lead Platform Engineer, you'll support our client's data team in developing secure Linux-based platforms. We're seeking someone with experience in security-cleared environments and advising on the design and delivery of wider systems. Our client is in an exciting period of growth, and they're seeking a Lead Engineer to build a team around.
Responsibilities:
* Develop a Kubernetes stack with secure-by-design tools
* Update security, software, dependencies and libraries
* Set up and migrate Spark clusters across platforms
* Manage user accounts and IdP permissions
* Maintain the Delta Lake
* Ensure secure-by-design assurance throughout the platform
Experience Required:
* Strong Linux engineering background
* Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker
* Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash)
* Experience with air-gapped networks and cloud platforms
* Familiar with HPC environments
* Knowledge of security, encryption and compliance standards
