RolePurpose
TheProject Engineering Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of Engineersto support the delivery of project and maintenance contracts and the TechnicalSupport / Help Desk team.

Reportingto the Head of Project Engineering, the Project Engineering Team Leader will beresponsible for leading and growing our client’s maintenance business alongsidesupporting project delivery via a team of Project Engineers and Technical Specialists.
KeyResponsibilities
Maintenance& Field Services:
·Manage existingcontracts including scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities
·Develop new maintenanceoffers with the Business Development team to grow maintenance revenues in linewith business objectives
·Lead the TechnicalSupport / Help Desk team and develop and report upon appropriate KPIs
·Lead field supportand training services, scheduling internal resources and managing theirdelivery
·Collate TechnicalSupport / Help Desk team statistics to support product development
·Leadership of a team ofProject Engineers and Technical Specialists
·Allocation andmanagement of resources to project delivery and business development activitiesincluding design support for tenders
·Supporting ProjectManagers to ensure project requirements are delivered on time and within budget
Other:
·Produce revenueforecasts, budget plans and strategies for growth
·Approver of HSEdocumentation for on-site activities (method statements, task brief sheets andrisk assessments)
·Become the point ofescalation for technical issues within the Project Engineering department
·Support the Head ofProject Engineering to deliver long-term sustainable growth for the business unit
ExperienceRequired
·Management oftechnical and / or engineering resource in a project delivery environment (Design Manager)
·Operating in ormanagement of a maintenance organisation offering 3rd line technical supportand preventative / corrective maintenance
·Specifying anddelivering public address, voice alarm, passenger help point and intercom solutionsusing a range of standard products and control systems
·Assessment of designrisk and developing appropriate mitigation and control measures
·Production of projectdeliverable documentation ( Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), FactoryAcceptance Test (FAT) etc.)
·Continuous assessmentof work flow processes and change management to align with and drive businessgrowth
·Excellent influencingand negotiating skills
·Client-facing skillsand commercial acumen
·Managing health and safetyand contractual obligations
·Strong leadership andpeople management skills
·Budget and revenue forecasting
Qualifications
Theideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject such as Electronic Engineering/ Computer Science or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. Possessionof a Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM would bedesirable. Training will be provided on the company’s product range.
