Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Cloud and Infrastructure Administrator for Digital Services. This role reports to the Cloud and Infrastructure Manager and focuses on preventive maintenance and technical support for trust systems.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex help desk calls related to server infrastructure issues, ensuring timely resolution in line with service level agreements.
* Gatekeep calls to maintain SLA compliance.
* Ensure IT infrastructure performance levels meet agreed service levels.
* Minimise system downtime through proactive monitoring, detection, and reporting of issues.
* Deliver against priorities for growth, maintenance, upgrade, and replacement of IT infrastructure components in line with risk appetite and business demand.
* Support effective delivery of IT infrastructure projects.
* Support the cloud server infrastructure at the trust.
* Collaborate with third-party suppliers to maintain compliance with standards, Security Policy, ISO27001, and KPI targets, including procurement of new systems.
* Assist in investigating security incidents per NHS Digital Standards.
* Develop and maintain procedures and documentation for server systems under Digital Services control.
* Obtain supplier quotes, recommend solutions to the line manager, and adhere to procurement processes.
* Ensure adherence to IT infrastructure strategy, standards and processes, embedding consistency, optimisation, and best practice.
* Contribute to a culture of high engagement, empowerment, and service excellence.
* Recommend technical developments to improve IT infrastructure performance.
* Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota and maintenance tasks.
* Role-model compassionate and inclusive leadership, promoting collective leadership, coaching, and collaboration.
