Science Teacher, Swindon
We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled Science Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Swindon.
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Swindon is looking for a full-time Science teacher to join their team in September 2025. This is a long-term placement, and as a newly appointed teacher, you will be fully supported by the Science department. The role involves teaching up to GCSE level across the three sciences and participating in team planning.
Daily rate of pay will start at £145 and can increase to £190 for more experienced teachers with UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status. All Science specialisms will be considered.
UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities
* Planning and teaching lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
* Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to support all pupils effectively
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
* Full-time availability
* Specialism or experience in teaching Science
