CDM Consultant / CDM Contractor (Contract) Location: London / South East (Remote with travel to client sites) Engagement: Contract 3–4 days per week Rate: £580/day approved expenses Overview: We are supporting a consultancy environment seeking an experienced CDM Consultant / CDM Contractor to support infrastructure and energy programmes across the UK, including projects with major clients such as National Grid. The role combines remote delivery with periodic travel to client and project sites across London, the South East, and wider UK locations as required. Key Responsibilities: Provide CDM advisory support across infrastructure and energy projects Support clients in fulfilling duties under CDM Regulations 2015 Advise on design risk management and safe-by-design principles Review and support Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP) Participate in design reviews and stakeholder meetings Support contractor coordination and duty holder compliance Conduct site visits and safety assurance activities where required Provide pragmatic, consultancy-style H&S/CDM advice Required Experience: Proven experience as a CDM Consultant / CDM Advisor / Principal Designer support Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 Infrastructure, utilities, energy, or major construction project experience (National Grid exposure desirable) Comfortable working in client-facing consultancy environments Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first delivery model Logistics: London / South East based preferred Remote delivery with travel as required 3–4 days per week contract Application Process: To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications for the role.
