Exciting Opportunity Alert! Join Rendall & Rittner as a House Manager. This is a permanent position in residential leasehold property management.
Position: House Manager
Location: Fitzwarren House, London, N6 5LX
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: A permanent position that offers stability and room for growth.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests and visitors by being attentive, visible and interactive; conduct site walkarounds and engage with residents.
* Coordinate community engagement activities such as morning coffees.
* Manage front desk duties: parcels, keys, resident queries and complaints.
* Engage in customer service excellence to inspire others and maintain high standards of service.
* Maintain building safety and compliance, conduct site patrols, daily/weekly/monthly checks; create disaster recovery manuals; review risk assessments; action remedials.
* Supervise contractors on site with RAMS and permits to work.
* Maintain the housekeeping, appearance, functionality, and image of the building in line with company and brand standards.
* Carry out light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, unblocking drains).
* Support residents with liaising with third-party contractors as required.
* Conduct routine checks of the premises including plant rooms and machinery; perform fire prevention and health and safety checks; manage on-site contractors; coordinate reactive maintenance.
* Undertake First Aid and emergency response training, including operating defibrillators.
* Carry out security inspections and monitor CCTV to ensure site security.
* Hold IOSH Managing Safely qualification or be willing to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.
* Hold TPI qualification or be willing/able to obtain within the first year of employment.
Qualifications
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
* TPI qualification or willingness/ability to obtain within first year.
* Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions (documented evidence required).
