Location: Ferndown (Office Based)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

Salary: £26,000–£32,000 DOE

Benefits:
28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays)

About Fire Door Controls
Fire Door Controls is a specialist supplier and installer of alarm-activated fire door closing systems, operating nationwide across the Residential Care, Social Housing and Retirement Living sectors.
We support our clients in maintaining safe, compliant buildings through high-quality installations and ongoing service support. As part of our next stage of growth, we are strengthening our internal sales function to drive repeat business, long-term client relationships and recurring service revenue.

The Role
This is a commercially focused, office-based sales role responsible for converting inbound enquiries, developing existing client accounts and driving recurring service and installation revenue.
The successful candidate will play a key part in growing the company's annual servicing and maintenance offering, increasing repeat business and maximising the lifetime value of our customer base.
This is not an administrative support role, it is a revenue-generating position within a growing specialist business.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Opportunity Conversion
· Manage and respond to inbound enquiries promptly and professionally
· Call and develop current lists of generated leads
· Qualify opportunities and identify appropriate installation or service solutions
· Prepare and issue quotations
· Proactively follow up quotations to maximise conversion rates
Account Development & Relationship Growth
· Manage a portfolio of existing customers
· Identify opportunities to introduce annual servicing and maintenance plans
· Re-engage previous installation clients to secure repeat business
· Build long-term client relationships to increase customer lifetime value
Service Contract Growth
· Promote annual servicing and compliance plans
· Support installation proposals with service contract attachment
· Track renewals and manage contract retention conversations
· Identify upgrade and cross-sell opportunities
CRM & Commercial Management
· Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline tracking
· Monitor quotation pipeline and sales performance metrics

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a commercially minded individual who:
· Has proven B2B internal sales or account management experience
· Is confident, professional and consultative in approach
· Is target-driven and motivated by performance-based reward
· Can identify and develop opportunities within an existing customer base
· Is organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
· Has experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Experience within construction, facilities management, fire safety or compliance sectors would be advantageous but not essential.
