Responsibilities
* Ensure regular site safety inspections at every level of the organization under my responsibility, from supervision to management levels.
* Prepare supporting documentation as required for Client and corporate safety committees and steering committees.
* Implement the safety system and ensure compliance with safety standards and site‑specific rules, monitoring corrective actions.
* Capture and share learning and experience feedback for my scope and area of responsibility, to be used from Unit 1 to Unit 2 construction.
* Participate in investigations regarding accidents, incidents or near‑misses within my scope and area of responsibility.
* Apply the Quality Management System relevant to my scope and area of responsibility.
* Carry out any corrective action arising from the Quality Management System within my scope and area of responsibility.
* Identify, report and investigate any non‑conformances occurring in my scope or area of responsibility according to site rules.
* Carry out all remedial actions following non‑conformances and report lessons learnt to the Project Leader or Senior Project Manager.
* Liaise with Site Engineering teams covering my scope and area of responsibility to ensure timely production of methods documentation.
* Highlight any issues with the supply of design information that would impact the general programmer for my scope or area of responsibility.
* Review all method requirements for my scope or area of responsibility prior to their integration within the design provided by the Client.
Qualifications
* Has delivered projects of longer duration (typically up to 4 years) with clear objectives, limited conflict potential, and a small number of key stakeholders.
* Previous experience managing work package interfaces or sections of work between stakeholders – subcontractors, suppliers, client and delivery team.
* Management of relevant documentation, subcontractor coordination, quality assurance and quality control.
* Strong communication skills.
* Experience working on large infrastructure projects.
* Must hold a degree in Building/Construction management or Civil Engineering with relevant building experience.
* IOSH/SMSTS or equivalent safety accreditation.
