Rate:Competitive Day Rate with opportunity to work outside IR35We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in main contracting and hands-on experience managing groundwork packages on housing projects.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
* Manage groundwork and civil packages through to final account.
* Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
* Prepare and manage interim valuations, variations, and cost reports.
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and internal procedures.
* Provide commercial support throughout the construction lifecycle.
✅ Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Senior QS in a main contracting environment.
* Strong knowledge of groundwork and residential housing projects.
* Excellent understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
* Proficient in cost reporting and valuation techniques.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to start a 6-month contract with a reputable main contractor immediately.
