Health & Safety Coordinator - (Part Time Role)

Description Overview
In this role you will assist the EHS Manager in maintaining a compliant and effective Health and Safety management system for the PUK Braunton site in accordance with compliance obligations, Policies, and Perrigo Global Standards. This is a part‑time position (2 days per week) supporting the EHS team onsite.
Scope of the Role
* Provide guidance and support to promote Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
* Ensure H&S is embedded in all business activities.
* Monitor H&S performance and minimise risks.
* Prepare weekly EHS scorecards and monthly metrics.
* Manage and train on Benchmark EHS software and other systems.
* Provide daily administrative support to EHS Manager.
* Administer Occupational Health Screening and ensure compliance.
* Maintain First Aid rota.
* Support accident investigations and improvement projects.
* Liaise with third‑party service suppliers.
* Maintain Ariba site spend system for EHS.
* Undertake other reasonable duties to support the business.
* Take personal responsibility for product quality and GMP compliance.
* Own quality in their area and do not rely on others to catch errors.
* Perform only tasks they are trained for and proactively report quality issues.
* Promote a safety culture through objectives, motivation, education, and training.
* Ensure team members comply with safety standards.
* Lead by example in safety practices.
* Ensure staff are trained for tasks, including control measures and PPE.
Experience Required
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, LMS, and Benchmark.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Effective communicator and negotiator.
* Knowledge of EHS local procedures desirable.
