Turning Point Scotland's Perth & Kinross Homelessness and Support Service is looking for a Support Practitioner to help provide individualized support to adults with a wide range of needs.

* Salary: £13.45 per hour

Responsibilities
As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives, such as keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
You will support adults in their own homes, helping them develop the skills needed to independently maintain and sustain their tenancies, using an outcomes-focused approach over approximately 6-9 months to achieve mutually agreed outcomes and ultimately prevent homelessness.
The support is person-centred and involves working with families, friends, health and social work professionals, advocacy services and staff members.
Qualifications & Training
No previous working experience is required; full training will be provided. We value respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity.
IT skills are required for all vacancies. Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.
