About the Role
We’re looking for a Midweight Designer to join our growing creative team. This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment—someone as comfortable crafting a beautiful brand campaign or packaging layout as they are managing a supplier or overseeing a photoshoot.
You’ll work across a wide range of creative projects, from digital and print to product and environmental design, ensuring everything we produce feels cohesive, considered, and distinctly Cozmo. We’re looking for a designer who moves fast when needed but can also slow down to build thoughtful, design-led work. Experience using AI tools (like Nano Banana, VEO, or similar) to streamline and elevate creative output is essential.
The role is hybrid, based in London, with regular in-person collaboration at our studio and warehouse spaces.
What You’ll Be Doing
Creative Design
* Design across digital and print touchpoints: website visuals, email layouts, packaging, marketing materials, and showroom collateral.
* Create cohesive, high-quality designs that balance performance goals with a strong visual identity.
* Support product launches, campaigns, and photoshoots through concepting and asset creation.
Project & Supplier Management
* Manage relationships with creative and print suppliers, photographers, and freelancers.
* Take ownership of timelines, ensuring assets and materials are delivered on brand, on budget, and on time.
* Act as a bridge between the creative, marketing, and commercial teams to keep projects running smoothly.
AI-Driven Design Workflow
* Use AI tools (Nano Banana, VEO, etc.) to accelerate ideation, automate workflows, and enhance creative quality.
* Stay up to date with the latest AI and design trends to continuously improve team processes and output.
Brand Development
* Help evolve and maintain Cozmo’s visual identity across channels.
* Ensure consistency and craft in everything from typography to photography.
What We’re Looking For
* 3–5 years of professional design experience (agency or in-house).
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma.
* Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and suppliers at once.
* Experience in a startup or fast-moving creative environment.
* Confident using AI tools for design and production workflows.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
* Based in London, available for hybrid work.
