Responsibilities
* Support teachers to deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Provide one‑to‑one and small group support, helping pupils develop social and academic skills.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through patience, empathy and encouragement.
* Assist with personal care routines where required, ensuring every child’s comfort and dignity.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and families to support each pupil’s individual progress.
* Help organise and take part in creative, hands‑on learning activities – both in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications
* Compassionate attitude and genuine passion for helping children.
* Energy, patience and a positive approach to every day.
* Adaptable, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Ideally experience working with children with additional learning needs (full training provided).
