Working in close collaboration with the newly appointed headteacher and with the support of our Regional Director, we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and talented Deputy Headteacher; someone with the commitment, knowledge, and skills to lead an incredible staff team in continuing to provide the very best education and outcomes for our pupils. The role involves leading on behaviours and attitudes in line with the school development plan.

Newbury Manor School is a specialist school for young people aged 7 to 19 with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Located in a Georgian manor house set in extensive grounds near Frome in Somerset, the school supports a wide range of needs, from those who are broadly average in ability to those with more severe learning difficulties.
We provide a safe, secure, and predictable environment where young people can understand their own difficulties and learn skills to overcome them. Our aim is to help pupils fulfill their potential socially, academically, physically, and spiritually, building their self-esteem and self-belief.
