Reporting to: Technical Services Manager
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate and detailed specifications for finished products and labels
Ensure all specifications are processed, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner, adhering to best practices
Complete and submit customer specifications and forms promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Approve final product artwork and print samples to meet both customer and legal requirements
Develop comprehensive product assembly sheets
Keep up-to-date with evolving customer and legal requirements
Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
About You:
At least 18 months experience as a Specifications Technologist in the food industry
At least Level 2 HACCP certification
Proficient in internal auditing, risk assessment, and food hygiene and safety practices
You use the traffic light system when writing specifications
