Overview

The team is passionate about exploration, meaningful travel, conservation and environmental sustainability. The role is based in our London offices (W11). This position is primarily office-based and may require in-office work on a full-time or part-time basis.


Role

Report into and assist our Office Manager & Executive Assistant to Founder and help perform the following duties:

* Office Management (estimated 70% of time)
o IT Resourcing – ensure all personnel have adequate IT equipment (hardware & software) and manage subscriptions, maintenance & accounts
o IT & Electronic Asset Register – assist the finance manager to create and maintain registers of IT assets and media equipment (cameras, drones, etc.) and handle broken or old equipment
o Accounts – maintain relationships with office-related accounts (cleaner, handyman, etc.) to ensure cost-efficient and timely support
o Contracts – negotiate and manage office-related contracts to ensure best value for money
o Cleaning/Wellbeing – ensure the office is clean, tidy and hygienic; manage cleaners and daily tidying as needed
o Stationery/ hardware – ensure appropriate resourcing of stationary and materials
o Supplies (food, drinks, etc.) – maintain morale and sustenance supplies
o Health & Safety – ensure compliance with relevant H&S regulations and signage
o Security – implement measures to ensure safety and security of the office environment
o Inventory control (Branded Marketing Collateral) + Zoho Inventory management
o Office repairs and maintenance / arranging handyman services
o Managing the office budget each month and keeping actual spend under control
o Maintaining tidiness of the office and offsite storeroom kit (sorting, donating or selling items as appropriate)
o Assisting with potential future office move (expected to be within west London)
* PA to Founder (estimated 30% of time)
o Diary management
o Other ad-hoc tasks

Preferred skills

* At least 2 years\' relevant work experience
* Entrepreneurial, a \'doer\', and enjoy working in a small team
* Organised and proactive mindset


Details

* Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per year (dependent on experience)
* Contract type: Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (e.g., 5 hours/day or 3 days/week)
* Location: London offices (W11) – office-based
* Annual bonus scheme and £1,250 annually towards benefits of your choice
* Holidays: 23 days, increasing with long service
* Benefits: Good office environment with engaged staff and regular social events
