Psychotherapist Health & Social Care Moray Adult Mental Health Services, Moray Part Time: 7.5 hours per week, Band 8a An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Psychotherapist to work within Adult Mental Health Services in Moray. As a highly skilled member of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will play a role in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based treatment of patients with moderate-severe mental health problems (Tier 3 and 4), in accordance with the Code of Conduct of relevant accrediting bodies (e.g. UKCP or BPC) and will facilitate Psychodynamic Psychotherapy sessions alongside offering highly specialist advice and consultation to mental health professionals in NHS Grampian where appropriate. The post holder may provide psychotherapy supervision (individual and group) for multidisciplinary staff of H&SC Moray mental health service. The post holder will develop their own clinical experience and be responsible for aspects of teaching, supervision and assessment of students and trainee members of multidisciplinary staff across H&SC Moray and NHS Grampian as well as supporting staff of NHS Grampian and other organisations in developing therapeutic skills. The post holder will take responsibility for appraisal systems as required by the Psychotherapy Service and will be expected to utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development.
