We are currently seeking a Domestic Assistant for a 3-month temporary position, working 28 hours per week across 4 days, with shift times from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (including a 30-minute unpaid break). This is an important role where you will help create a clean and welcoming environment that directly supports the well-being of our residents. Your attention to detail and high standards of hygiene will contribute to a pleasant and safe living space. You’ll be part of a supportive and dedicated team where your contribution is genuinely valued. Key Responsibilities Maintain Cleanliness: Deliver thorough domestic cleaning services in line with company procedures and best practices. Hygienic Work Practices: Ensure all cleaning tasks meet infection control and hygiene standards. Floor Care: Clean and protect carpets and hard flooring. Furniture and Fixtures: Maintain cleanliness of furnishings, fixtures, and fittings. Sanitary Maintenance: Clean and restock sanitary areas to a high standard. Waste Management: Safely remove and dispose of refuse. Vertical Surfaces: Clean vertical surfaces without the use of access equipment. Resident Support: Help residents feel comfortable in their environment. Laundry Services: Carry out laundry tasks effectively, handling and labelling personal items correctly. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety, fire, and infection control protocols. Collaborative Working: Work with colleagues to ensure all cleanliness and laundry duties are completed efficiently.
