Stairlift Engineering Manager – Operations Manager
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (commutable to Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Wakefield, Morley, Halifax, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Bingley, Barnsley, Dewsbury) – Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Performance Bonus – Hours: Full-time, Office-Based.
Responsibilities
* Oversee procurement and stock management of stairlift components and parts.
* Manage supplier relationships and ensure efficient supply‑chain operations.
* Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day service and maintenance activities.
* Develop and maintain high standards of service delivery and operational processes.
* Support and manage a small team of engineers and office staff.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on business strategy and performance goals.
* Ensure health & safety and compliance procedures are followed.
Requirements
* Background as a Stairlift Service Manager, Electrical Engineering Manager, or similar role.
* Strong technical understanding of stairlift systems and components.
* Experience in procurement, operations, or service management – essential.
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Proven leadership experience or natural aptitude for team management – essential.
