Freelance Content Creator & Social Media Manager needed initially 2 months, with a view to extend.
We’re looking for a Freelance Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join a fast-growing brand in the health and wellness space. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands how to build engaged communities, and can translate brand messaging into compelling, social-first content.
Please note, this brand is based in Dartford and is looking for someone able to work from their offices 2 days per week.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing the brand’s social presence — from content planning and creation to performance analysis and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the brand’s social media channels (primarily Instagram and facebook)
* Plan and execute social-first content strategies aligned with brand and growth goals
* Concept, create, and publish engaging short-form video and static content
* Manage the social content calendar and ensure consistent brand storytelling
* Monitor trends, cultural moments, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant
* Analyse performance metrics and optimise content based on insights
* Engage with the community through comments, DMs, and conversations
* Collaborate with internal teams and external creators to deliver impactful campaigns
* What We’re Looking For
o Experience managing brand social media accounts, ideally within health, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle
o Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform trends
o Experience creating mobile-first content (Reels, TikTok, short-form video)
o Comfortable both strategically planning and executing content hands-on
o Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
o Passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle culture
* Bonus Skills
o Experience working with content creators or influencers
o Basic video editing skills
o Understanding of social analytics and growth strategies
