We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Slough. This is a key role, offering the chance to work with pupils in their final year of primary education as they prepare for secondary school and statutory assessments.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across the Year 6 curriculum, creating engaging lessons that challenge pupils while supporting their personal development. You will establish a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment where pupils feel motivated, confident, and valued.
Assessment and tracking of progress will be central to your role. You will identify gaps in learning, plan targeted interventions, and differentiate lessons to ensure all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL, make strong progress.
Collaboration with colleagues across Upper Key Stage 2 and support from teaching assistants will ensure consistency and continuity of learning. The school values creativity, innovation, and staff who contribute positively to the whole-school vision.
