Join a vibrant and forward-thinking Property Law firm that blends traditional client service with a modern approach. We are seeking a Licensed Conveyancer to join our dynamic residential conveyancing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Legal Document Management: Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, and other conveyancing documents. Ensure all documentation complies with legal standards and regulatory requirements.
* Property Searches & Enquiries: Conduct and interpret local authority, environmental, and other property-related searches. Respond to enquiries from buyers, sellers, and their legal representatives.
* Client Liaison: Provide clear, professional advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process. Maintain regular communication and manage expectations.
* Financial Oversight: Manage client accounts, deposits, and payments. Prepare completion statements and ensure financial compliance.
* Transaction Coordination: Liaise with estate agents, surveyors, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of property transactions.
* Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to CLC (Council for Licensed Conveyancers) regulations and maintain high standards of professional conduct.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Licensed Conveyancer qualification (CLC) or CILEX equivalent.
* Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to identify legal risks.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain language.
* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
* Proficiency in legal case management software and digital tools.
