Collins Aerospace, a leader in aviation technology, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Customer Returns Technician to join our fast-paced and innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production of high-end aviation seating switches and lighting products for renowned airlines such as Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways.
This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals and to be responsible for the daily fault finding and repair products that come back through the customer returns process in a manner that conforms to the company's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Fault find customer returns to determine the root cause and liability of failure.
Raise work orders and create reports
Performing the reworking to faulty units.
Testing of production and aftermarket products.
Verifying test equipment and set ups prior to the release to production.
Communicate any problems or obstacles to the Testing Supervisor or the Production Manager in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience:
Production Assembly Experience: Previous experience working in an Electrical production or assembly environment is essential.
Experience in production testing environment
IOS9001 / AS9100 standards knowledge would be highly desirable
Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
The ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
PC skills are essential
