Permanent Role – Glasgow (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000
Anderson Knight is partnering with a well-known client based in Glasgow to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team. Key Responsibilities:
* Administer the end-to-end payroll process for multiple employees
* Ensure the accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits
* Maintain and update payroll records and systems
* Process and manage timesheets, absence reports, and overtime claims
* Handle queries relating to pay, tax, and pensions
* Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with all payroll regulations
* Support with year-end reporting and other payroll-related tasks as required
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience working in payroll (1-2 years minimum)
* Solid understanding of payroll procedures and UK legislation
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Proficiency in payroll software (knowledge of Sage or similar is desirable)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
* A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
