GKR International has been exclusively retained by a boutique Interior Design consultancy to support this newly formed Design Executive role.
Our client delivers high-quality, bespoke projects across London, with a strong track record in in key London locations including Kensington, Primrose Hill, Nine Elms, and Canary Wharf.
Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking a Design Executive to play a key role in securing new business, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the delivery of projects from inception through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & New Client Acquisition
* Proactively identify and secure new business aligned with the consultancy’s service offering
* Develop and convert new client opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
* Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and presentations
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
* Arrange and lead client appointments, acting as a primary point of contact
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships
* Understand client objectives and translate them into clear project briefs
Project Delivery & Management
* Lead and manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery within agreed scope and budget
* Coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
* Oversee project reporting, risk management, and client communications
Commercial & Strategic Oversight
* Support fee proposals, project appointments, and commercial negotiations
* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling
Key Requirements
* Background in construction, interior design, or estate agency
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to winning new business
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Confidence working with high-end clients and projects
* Flexible, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approach
This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to manage multiple projects with a varied client base. You will have an opportunity to shadow the Founder who has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months and is now looking to continue the company’s growth in 2026.
