About You
Are you a highly organised professional with a food safety and health and safety background? If yes, then we would love to hear from you. Due to recent growth, we are looking to expand our team of Associate Consultants to provide exceptional support to a diverse range of clients.
About the Role
You will leverage your technical expertise to offer tailored, compliant, and practical solutions to our clients. You will deliver expert-level consultancy in both food safety and health & safety across a variety of premises, helping clients maintain regulatory compliance, improve safety culture, and implement robust management systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site food hygiene and health & safety compliance audits
* Provide guidance, training, coaching, and support to client teams on compliance and best practices.
* Support implementation of corrective actions and improvements at client sites.
* Prepare high-quality reports with actionable recommendations and maintain records..
Qualifications/Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate and Level 4 Food Safety (e.g., Managing Food Safety) or equivalent.
* Membership or chartered status with professional bodies (e.g., IOSH, CIEH) is highly advantageous
* Minimum 3 years' experience in consultancy or relevant freelance role.
* Strong knowledge of UK food safety regulations and health & safety legislation.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Demonstrable ability to work independently and manage your own diary.
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to client sites, possibly including overnight stays.
