Working within a busy, friendly Residential Conveyancing team, your duties as Conveyancer will include:
1. Managing a full and varied caseload of both freehold and leasehold sales and re-mortgages, transfers of equity, right to buys and shared ownership schemes from start to finish
2. Deal with client work as allocated by the Partner in charge
3. Ensuring that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress
4. Exercising high standards of client care at all times in a professional and pleasant manner
5. Ensuring confidentiality and security of documentation and information
6. Complying with Solicitors Accounts Rules and the rules on Professional Conduct of Solicitors
7. Proactively promoting the services of the firm and its image
8. Day-to-day handling of a wide variety of cases
You will have:
9. Good interpersonal skills with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
10. Professional dress and demeanor
11. Ability to stay calm under pressure
12. Exceptional organisational skills, able to self-manage and prioritise own workload
13. Good computer and word processing skills
14. Interest in business development projects and excellent relationship building skills
15. Commitment to ethos, values and strategy of the firm
