Overview
We are seeking a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Analyst to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity and resilience frameworks across the organisation. This role will suit an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating across departments, identifying risks, and contributing to the protection of critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development, review, and testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
* Maintain documentation, processes, and metrics related to continuity and resilience activities.
* Coordinate updates to continuity plans with business units, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk frameworks.
* Assist in conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery requirements.
* Monitor operational and external risks that could impact business continuity.
* Support the collection and interpretation of data to inform continuity planning and reporting.
* Help plan and execute business continuity exercises and simulations.
* Track findings and corrective actions from tests, ensuring timely remediation.
* Contribute to post-exercise reviews and lessons learned sessions.
* Work closely with IT, Risk, Cyber Security, and Operations teams to ensure an integrated approach to resilience.
* Prepare reports and dashboards for management and key stakeholders.
* Assist in promoting continuity awareness through training and communications.
Skills & Experience
* 2–4 years’ experience in Business Continuity, Risk Management, or related fields.
* Understanding of BIA methodologies, crisis management, and resilience principles.
* Familiarity with ISO 22301 or equivalent business continuity standards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with GRC or BCM tools is a plus.
Qualifications
* Degree in Business, Risk, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, ISO 22301 Practitioner, or similar) desirable but not essential.
