Breakfast Club Worker Permanent, Part-Time (10 Hours Per Week), Term-Time Only (38 Weeks) Salary: Scale 1, Point 3, £24,796 (Actual Salary: £5,697.79) Starting Date - As Soon As Possible We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Breakfast Club Worker who is an inspirational individual who will have high expectations of every pupil and of themselves. You will work with children from 4 years of age up to 11 years. We are looking for an individual that loves children, a team player, nurturing and skilled. You will need to be creative, flexible, and hardworking. You will be working alongside an experienced Breakfast Club Leader. As part of our Breakfast Club team, you will play an important role in supporting children before the school day begins. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and serving breakfast to children in a safe, hygienic, and friendly environment. (Food handling training will be provided) Setting up a range of indoor games, toys, and activities to keep children engaged Interacting and building positive relationships with children to ensure they feel supported and happy Organising and supervising outdoor activities from 8:20am-9:45am (weather permitting) Clearing away, washing up, and tidying to maintain a clean and organised environment We’re looking for someone who is: Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic Able to use their initiative and work as part of a team Confident interacting with children of primary school age Reliable and punctual Willing to uphold safeguarding and health & safety procedures Experience working with children is desirable but not essential - the right attitude matters most!
