ASC Support Teaching Assistant (KS2) – Primary School in Lancaster

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? Do you have the patience, empathy, and creativity to help a young learner thrive? Join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lancaster as a KS2 ASC Support Teaching Assistant and make a lasting impact.

At Teaching Personnel, we connect dedicated educators with schools that value compassion, collaboration, and growth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 basis in a nurturing environment.

Your Role:

* Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with ASC
* Deliver creative, engaging activities tailored to individual needs
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and strategies
* Encourage positive communication and social interaction
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

✅ What We’re Looking For:

* Experience working with children with SEN/ASC (or a strong willingness to learn)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential
* A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Location: Lancaster, Lancashire
Hours: Full-time or part-time options available
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
