About the Role
As a MET Strip/Fitter Technician & Bodyshop Mechanic, you’ll handle mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs with precision and care, ensuring each vehicle is returned in top condition and meets all safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
14. Strip and refit vehicle mechanical and trim components
15. Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and suspension repairs
16. Operate diagnostic and repair tools confidently and effectively
17. Follow manufacturer guidelines and health & safety protocols
18. Keep the workshop tidy, safe, and compliant
What You’ll Bring:
19. Proven experience as a MET Technician or Bodyshop Mechanic (2+ years preferred)
20. Strong mechanical and suspension repair knowledge
21. Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
22. A quality-first approach to work
23. Relevant qualifications (e.g. SVQ/NVQ Level 3) preferred
24. Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
