Job Description
The successful Senior Data & Analytics Developer will be responsible for but not limited to:
3. Provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of Data & Analytics solutions, aligned to business priorities and industry best practice.
4. Contribute to the definition and evolution of our Data & Analytics strategy, informed by emerging technology trends and hands‑on delivery experience.
5. Lead by example through the hands‑on development of high‑quality, sustainable solutions using cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric.
6. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand processes and challenges, translating them into effective data and analytics solutions.
7. Design, develop, and maintain robust data models, pipelines, and analytics products using industry‑standard tools and practices.
8. Own the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, including research, solution design, documentation, configuration, testing, implementation, go‑live, and end‑user training.
9. Mentor and support developers within the team, promoting high standards of engineering, documentation, and professional conduct.
10. Ensure all data assets conform to technical, cyber security, and regulatory standards, while meeting the needs of multiple business units.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior Data & Analytics Developer will be able to demonstrate:
11. Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, data modelling, and ETL/ELT patterns.
12. Strong understanding of developing and maintaining complex data models.
13. Advanced SQL skills, including query optimisation and performance tuning.
14. Hands‑on with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric.
15. Ability to extract meaningful insights from complex and diverse data sets.
