Dental Receptionist
Job Title Dental Receptionist – Full Time · Central Manchester
About the Practice We are a brand-new, modern 4-surgery dental practice located close to central Manchester. Two surgeries are now open, with the others coming online soon. Our clinic focuses mainly on cosmetic treatments in a welcoming, patient-centred environment. Free parking is available nearby, and you'll be joining a supportive team with clear opportunities to grow as the practice expands.
Role & Working Hours
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Flexible schedule: may include weekend work with compensating time off during the week
You'll be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a smooth patient journey
Key Responsibilities
Manage patient bookings, recalls, and diary coordination
Welcome patients and provide excellent customer service at reception
Answer phone calls, emails, and patient enquiries promptly and professionally
Process payments, invoices, and financial records
Ensure compliance with GDPR and CQC requirements for record-keeping
Support the clinical team with admin tasks as required
Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience in a dental clinic reception role
Knowledge of Dentally practice management software (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication skills, professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Friendly, patient-focused, and a team player
