The role Orbit are delighted to be recruiting for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join us on a 12 month FTC. In this role, you will assist the Head of Health, Safety & Insurance and support the H&S Team in the implementation and on-going provision of a Group wide Health and Safety Management System, to ensure legal compliance and advance the Group beyond basic legal requirements to deliver sector leading service. You will also support on day to day administrative activities across the team, whilst working with the organisation as a whole on H&S related projects and answering H&S related queries. This role can be based out of either our Stratford upon Avon or our Coventry offices, and will be an agile working role. This role is part of Regulatory & Governance where you'll help us give colleagues the support and expertise they need to be brilliant. What you'll achieve Responsible for monitoring the H&S inbox and providing support to the business where necessary. Responsible for liaising with internal customers and external agencies as and when required. Responsible for co-ordinating Health and Safety related training to colleagues as and when required. Responsible for co-ordinating Health and Safety audits, inspections, investigations and ad-hoc visits. Responsible for collating data, carrying out statistical analysis and collating monthly, quarterly and annually into reports, maintaining the KPI’s. Responsible for reviewing and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures and guidance as necessary and ensuring that any updates required are highlighted to the Health & Safety Manager.
