Overview
In this position you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a quality radiology service for our patients and referring medical staff. This will involve providing clinical support to Doctors and Radiographers throughout the department, and assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
* You will be required to rotate through different Radiology areas (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Breast unit and A&E imaging) and assist the staff in providing the highest qualities of care to a diverse range of patients.
* Provide clinical support to Doctors and Radiographers throughout the department, and assist with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both patients and staff.
Working pattern
The working pattern is a mixture of day shifts over 7 days.

About the department and location
The department of Radiology at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is undergoing a multi million pound redevelopment program whereby Nuclear Medicine, MRI and the Interventional Unit are upgrading their equipment. The Royal Free Hospital is situated in the Hampstead area, a vibrant part of London with many cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs, and is located close to Hampstead Heath. The hospital is 5 minutes from Underground and Overground train services as well as regular buses. It has a diverse range of complex specialties, a busy A&E department and a centre of excellence for HPB and vascular work.
