Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Permanent Post, 2-4 days per week
Due to a recent retirement, Rothes Medical Practice in Glenrothes, Fife is seeking an highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our supportive and friendly team. The successful candidate will work alongside our General Practitioners and existing ANP team to provide high quality care to our patient population of approximately 8800. The practice is based at Pitteuchar Health Centre which is a purpose built site within easy access of the A92.
Key Responsibilities
Provide same day appointments with patients presenting with acute illness
Work autonomously within your professional scope of practice
Undertake clinical assessment, history taking, physical examination and decision making
Prescribe medications as a registered non medical prescriber
Contribute to the ongoing development of ongoing services
Essential Criteria
Registered nurse with relevant ANP qualification
Independent non-medical prescriber
Proven experience in autonomous clinical practice
Strong communication and decision making skills
