Electrical Estimator | M&E Building Services | London | £60,000£70,000 + Package
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects typically ranging from £2m to £8m.
The company operates as a specialist M&E contractor with strong design and build capability, delivering fast-track commercial projects across London and the surrounding areas. Known for their collaborative approach and consistent project delivery, they have built long-standing relationships with clients across the commercial office, education, and mixed-use sectors.
The Role Electrical Estimator
You will be responsible for pricing electrical packages typically ranging from £500k to £2m, as part of wider commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Working closely with the pre-construction team, you will be involved from initial enquiry through to final submission, ensuring accurate and competitive tenders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing tender documentation including drawings and specifications
* Producing accurate electrical take-offs and cost plans
* Issuing enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors
* Analysing and comparing quotations
* Attending internal tender review and adjudication meetings
* Preparing detailed tender submissions including clarifications and exclusions
* Supporting post-tender negotiations where required
Requirements
* Experience working as an Electrical Estimator within M&E Building Services
* Proven experience pricing commercial projects, ideally within fit-out or refurbishment
* Stable employment history, demonstrating commitment and reliability
* Strong technical understanding of electrical systems within commercial environments
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines
* Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
