HGV Mechanic – Rotherham Borough Council
I am currently representing Rotherham Borough Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for an HGV Technician based at: Riverside House, Main St, Rotherham S60 1AE
Requirements:
* Experience of working with all aspects of HGV and light commercial inspection, maintenance and repair.
* Experience of working on municipal vehicles is desirable.
* Knowledge of workshop health and safety policies, practices and procedures.
* Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and 12/24v electric systems.
* Ability to work on own initiative and meet strict deadlines.
* Ability to ensure that all associated records are updated promptly, accurately and effectively using the fleet management software system.
