Job Purpose:
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the Senior Administrator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of HR and recruitment administration services for a dedicated client account. Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, the role is responsible for managing onboarding and administrative processes, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring service delivery standards are consistently achieved.
This position requires a highly organised individual with strong administrative expertise, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and accuracy. The Senior Administrator will take ownership of key operational processes, support candidate onboarding activities, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Act as a primary point of contact for onboarding and administration queries, ensuring a high standard of customer service and timely resolution.
* Manage and coordinate onboarding activities for new starters, including pre-employment screening, compliance checks and documentation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, client stakeholders, and third-party providers.
* Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.
* Maintain accurate records across client and internal systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance requirements are met.
* Monitor onboarding progress and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders throughout the process.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working, making recommendations to enhance efficiency, compliance, and the candidate experience.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
* Support additional administrative tasks and projects as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a senior administration, onboarding, recruitment administration, or HR administration role.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
* A strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience coordinating onboarding or employee lifecycle administration activities.
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to recommend process improvements.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to work with pace, urgency, and accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience working with HR, recruitment, or workflow management systems.
