With work spanning across Lancashire, Blackpool, and even occasionally out of the county, flexibility and mobility are key. If you have at least three years of experience in a local authority and have not held a permanent or fixed‑term position in the last 12 weeks, this rewarding position could be calling your name. What you will do:
* Undertake comprehensive assessments of adoptive applicants, presenting detailed Prospective Adopter’s Reports to the Adoption Panel.
* Involve yourself in planning and executing preparation and training sessions for adoptive applicants.
* Guide adoptive applicants through the matching process, supporting them into placement.
* Engage in the planning, facilitation, and operation of training events.
* Embrace working as an integral team member, contributing to service development.
* Participate in team and service meetings, as well as any relevant working groups or training sessions.
* Contribute to the administrative, monitoring, and evaluation systems within the adoption service.
