Warehouse Operative
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and professional warehouse and distribution team based in Lichfield. This is an ongoing opportunity with a well‑known furniture distributor operating across the Midlands.
This role is ideal for an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for stable weekday work with no weekend requirements.
Your Role
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
1. Receiving, checking and storing goods delivered to the central warehouse
2. Picking, packing and preparing items for delivery to various sites
3. Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
4. Supporting urgent operational stock requirements when needed
5. Working in line with all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
6. Minimum of 6 months’ Warehouse Operative experience
7. Van driving experience – DESIRABLE
8. Ability to lift and handle items safely in line with H&S guidelines
9. Good communication skills
10. Strong attention to detail
11. Reliable and able to work as part of a team
Pay & Shifts
12. £13.45 per hour
13. Monday – Friday
14. 14:00-22:30
15. No weekends
