We’re looking for an Investor Services Officer to join FNZ’s Investment Operations team in Edinburgh. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality client service through accurate and timely processing of investor transactions, responding to client inquiries, and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
The role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Transaction Processing
1. Accurately process work items within allocated timescales.
2. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory standards, and client service level agreements (SLAs).
3. Conduct thorough checks to minimize errors and ensure data integrity.
Client Communication
4. Draft and respond to client emails in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing consistent, high-quality service.
6. Liaise with internal teams to resolve client queries and escalate issues when necessary.
Quality and Control
7. Maintain strong attention to detail when handling repetitive and high-volume tasks.
8. Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.
Independent Work
9. Manage assigned workload and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
10. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for accuracy and timeliness.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll be proactive, accurate, and motivated to deliver a great service for our clients. Experience in financial services is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
Key skills and attributes:
11. Strong customer service background (retail, contact centre, or similar)
12. Proficient in Excel and data analysis
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Able to work accurately and meet deadlines
15. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
16. Knowledge of financial services and FCA regulations (desirable)
