Role Overview
We are looking for a highly competent Automatic Coffee Installation Engineer with specialist experience working on Coffetek Vitro coffee machines, their associated cabinets, and on‑site plumbing integration. In this role you will deliver professional installations, ensure machines operate to manufacturer specifications, and provide exceptional service support to our customers.
You will work across a variety of customer locations – offices, hospitality venues, retail environments and manufacturing sites – requiring strong technical ability, problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset. This is a highly practical, hands‑on position that combines engineering, plumbing and field service work.

Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
* Install Coffetek Vitro tabletop and freestanding units, including appropriate cabinetry, machine placement and securing of units.
* Connect machines to mains water supply, install filtration units and route internal/external waste systems as required.
* Ensure all installations comply with water regulations (e.g., WRAS) and that all plumbing work is completed to a high professional standard.
* Configure machine settings, calibrate drink menus and test overall drink quality.
* Complete machine commissioning checks, record installation data and obtain customer sign‑off.
Plumbing & Technical Integration
* Carry out plumbing work such as fitting isolation valves, push‑fit connectors, pressure reducers, filters and drainage hoses.
* Assess site plumbing infrastructure and advise customers on suitability or required upgrades.
* Conduct water pressure and flow testing to ensure compatibility with Coffetek Vitro systems.
* Install auxiliary equipment including payment systems, cup dispensers, waste chutes and under‑counter waste tanks.
Maintenance, Servicing & Repairs
* Perform routine machine servicing, including brewer cleaning, replacement of seals, valve calibration and grinder maintenance.
* Diagnose faults efficiently in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and parts.
* Replace machine components such as boilers, pumps, valves, grinders, mixing bowls and touchscreens.
* Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive service calls.
Customer Support & Training
* Provide on‑site customer training on machine operation, cleaning routines and basic troubleshooting.
* Deliver high‑quality customer service, always maintaining a professional and friendly manner.
* Work closely with customer site managers to ensure installations align with site requirements and expectations.
Documentation & Compliance
* Complete installation reports, service logs and asset documentation accurately via digital or paper‑based systems.
* Follow company health and safety procedures, always ensuring safe working practices.
* Keep up to date with Coffetek technical bulletins, updates and product developments.
* Maintain full compliance with electrical and plumbing safety standards.
Logistics & Equipment Management
* Maintain a clean and well‑organised service vehicle stocked with essential parts and tools.
* Manage inventory levels of filters, fittings and machine components.
* Communicate effectively with the service desk to plan routes, manage appointments and update job statuses.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience installing or servicing Coffetek Vitro machines or similar automatic bean‑to‑cup/tabletop coffee machines.
* Strong plumbing skills, including the ability to install water lines, filters and drainage systems.
* Competence in basic electrical diagnostics and safe isolation principles.
* Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical diagrams.
* Strong fault‑finding abilities with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
* Confident working independently on customer sites.
* Full clean UK driving licence (or local equivalent).
Desirable
* Formal electrical or plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds or equivalent).
* Experience with vending, hospitality equipment or other commercial beverage machines.
* Understanding of water treatment and filtration technologies.
* Previous field engineering or mobile technician experience.
